Weekend Wrapped-up...

Let me wrap up for the weekend...

Last Friday, Hubby with his brother and nephew went fishing again over at Pasir Ris Pond. After work, I will drop by to see them fishing. Its a rainy day, heavy red sky lured above us. Hubby was at his usual fishing spot. On to the left, was a group of  malay uncles and to our right was empty till one 'botak' malay guy came along and took the spot. It didn't took long for the 'botak' guy to settle down and threw his line out, when he caught his very first fish. You can imagine the reaction we all had, he just came, threw his line out, 'played' awhile with his line and within seconds caught his first fish. Guess, it was his luck. We waited and waited till it was time for me to make a move. That was when hubby's rod came bending forward as if something was pulling it down hard, hubby quickly sprung into action, grab his rod and rear the line in, I was hoping that the fish get tangle with the line. Then we saw the fish splashing on the water surface. Hubby caught his first fish for the day, just in time before I make a move. In a joking manner, I told hubby the fish must have known that I am making my move so it bite on his line.

Yesterday was my off day, I went out with my family to have dinner at Simei banquet. After dinner, we head down to Mustafa Center, it was crowded and it took us awhile to get an empty parking lot. Since it was so crowded, my dad didn't follow us in the mall so he waited for us outside. After paying of our things, we head out to met my dad. We sat down at this small stall under the same roof, we went to order our drinks. Here is the funny part I am sharing, we went to order our drinks, my dad drinks tea 'o'. Over the counter, we are served by mainland Indians, we asked for tea 'o' and they gave a blank face and gave me tea instead. I corrected them and asked for tea without milk. Then the supervisor came out and told us off, English called tea 'BLACK TEA'. I was confused and dumbfounded, whether to laugh or not, never have I heard of 'black tea'. I told them off maybe since they make the tea so they call it 'black tea' because they are black. They cant even compare the color black and reddish maybe they are color-blind. We laugh and make jokes out of it through the whole journey back home. Here is a picture of the 'black tea'.
