Today, I took time off from work to meet my hubby and make the trip down to Parkway Parade. Since that day my hubby mention he wanted to look for his lappy accessories at Popular and along the way I look for my 'mouse'. We looked around for my 'mouse' and nothing seems to catch my eye but hubby manage to get his thing which is a multi-purpose hub for his lappy. Then we wandered off to Parkway Parade, in searched for my 'mouse' at Giant, Harvey Norman and Best Denki, none seems to suit my budget and catches my eye. Eventually, we went to this shop whereby they sell certain computers accessories and finally bought myself a wireless mini navigator which was within my budget. Aside from that, we bought ourselves each this 'Heartswarmers' keepsakes card with special messages. Its really sweet to owned this keepsakes cards with special messages in a way when I misses him, I can just take the cards out and read the written message which draw a smile on my face. I even get myself a free mug plus soft toy in it from Giant, after I have completed to collect 16stamps. Its a mug with either cats or dogs design in calboration with SPCA. My mug plus soft toy represents a Persian cat.

Before we head home, we had our supper at KFC, since it was 9plus there wasn't much crowd queuing up. We queue patiently, waiting to be serve. There was 3counters and only 2 are opened, after awhile we waited, the staff from other counter call upon us for our order which the staff has already closed his/her counter for the day so we proceed as usual hubby make the order. While hubby was making his order, the staff cut his conversation without hearing out his complete order when he actually he was making it easier for the staff taking the order without having to ask us for any particular order which pissed him off. Hubby simply turn to me and say "I hate the attitude" instantly the staff serving us, feel the pinch and talk to us gently and the next few minutes everything was perfectly say and done by the staff, maybe the staff was afraid that hubby might want to lodge a complain with the manager. Later, hubby told me that the staff have closed his/her counter and preparing to clean up the workplace when the manager told him/her off that he/she should serve us first before starting to clean the place up since there is still customers waiting on line which the staff wasn't happy about.

Let us think thru about our service industry and the frontliners, have they really boost up the service rate and is this the way its going to be for the next years down the road. How will the community and tourists/foreigners rate our service if this kind of service and attitude keeps on-going. I suggest that everyone that works in the service line should attend courses and have proper trainings since the government also emphasize on good service.
