Typical Singaporean VS Kiasu Singaporean

I was on the way to work today, as usual i took the train and alight at Tanah Merah station. Its a Sunday and you can imagine how crowded the train is and each stop that the train make, passengers kept coming in and out. As i was getting ready to alight at my stop, the crowd was pushing their way in without giving a thought about the other passengers that is alighting. Its so frustrating having to push my way out too or better still get pushed by others. Iv to voice out, raising my voice..."Excuse me..! can u all please make some way for other people to alight first...!!!!" and stomp my way out.. How do we educate this kind of people, even posters and advertisements has been put up but still the message is not reached and understand to the 'non-speaking English'. This are just the Typical Singaporeans living today.

Since my daily routine at work is meeting people from all walk of life, I get to experience all kinds of characters and attitudes. In particular, aunties, uncles and the old folks of the Nongsapura, Batam trip crowded the turnstil before boarding their ferry even before the ferry arrive. In a way blocking other passengers to board.  Signs have been put up and verbally been informed but still we are being ignored, reason is they want to board first, get the good seat (Fong Shui) and alight first, good luck for their gambling game. We label them Kiasu Singaporeans.

Who do you vote for being the good examples of Singaporeans today? Both groups are just the typical Singaporeans living in our daily lives. Its the trademark of Singaporeans, bringing this characteristics everywhere and anywhere they go so be mindful about everything you do, have some thoughts for others.

Holidays around the corner

It's been a tiring week for me to be working in the morning shift. Furthermore, its the school holidays, families and tourists travel around the globe. Imagine the crowd double up during the festive period and public holidays. Everywhere you go is crowded, .e.g the malls, cinemas, beaches, trains etc.Hmmphh....holidays is here, how nice it would be to be able to enjoy the holiday mood and have a plan to spend the holidays. How nice it would be, to spend the day out at the beach or picnic maybe barbecue.

I am looking forward to spend the days on some quality times with my beloved hubby, doing the things we shared and likes. After a long tiring day at work, it would be really, really nice to be in my hubby cuddles able to relax the nerves that has been working all day. Being close, wrap in his warmth cuddles is just as good as having a massage....MMmmmmm....nice...

P.S how about a good 'wrap up' this days...ehehehee...

A visit to SGH

Dear Diary,

It's Hari Raya Adha today which mark the new year in Islam calendar. Everyone is celebrating this festive season happily with their respective families while here i am at SGH visiting my beloved aunty, bik Nora, who is in ICU. Her condition is still critical and unstable. Its been 2 weeks and still no improvement in her health. It sadden me to see her in such state, feeling her pain and dilemma fighting her life thru this critical moment by herself. She's clinging on to a supportive equipment which help thru her breathing process.

Families and friends have come and go every single day by her ward, in hoping for a miracle and blessing from above, praying everyday by her side reciting 'surah yasin' that she'll pull thru this hurdles in life. Just last year, iv lost my beloved uncle and the thought of losing another beloved family members is just so near yet far. She've been in operations but none was successful and at times the feeling of losing hope could be felt by all though we leave it to fate and the almighty.

Like the saying.."ajal dan maut di tangan tuhan"... in god's will, whatever that comes thru this path, we take it with an open strong heart.
