A story to share..

Hi, people! I have a story to share with all, do keep on reading. As everyone know its almost end of the year, everyone favourite moments, year-end-sales, festive month, year end parties, holiday moods, school holidays, barbeque and chalets, wedding invitations throughout the month. Its really a busy, busy month. Everyone is out to enjoy and have all kinds of activities plan.

I am invited to a friend chalet with barbeque over at Changi. The chalet is going to be 3 days 2 nights event during the weekends, middle of december. As usual, we will be coming with empty stomach to fill and mingle around the crowd, some might stay overnight. The funny part is, everyone that is coming over will have to pay $20...!!! Either you stay over or you just come for the day, better still drop by the chalet for merely a few hours and you have to pay such amount, that is crazy and it makes me feel like I am being rob in broad daylight. If the amount to be pay is within $10, I wouldn't brag about it, how expensive can it be to hold a chalet with barbeque..? And about 20-25 people are invited over, if 1 person pay $20, how much will it be for 20-25 people, wouldn't that total up to $500..?!? It has to be a joke, to hold a chalet with barbeque cost that much. It is as good as I pay about $20 plus for a meal over at seoul garden where they cater for buffet and we can eat as much as we want but it is worth it. This is a chalet for goodness sake, don't tel me the food is expensive but even so it will just cost within $50-$100. I guessed the $20 is for the food, inclusive of the chalet fee.

It makes me to think twice about coming over the chalet. For an example, when my own company is having a barbeque which also have to be paid for, I didn't attend. Even when the company was having their dinner 'n' dance event which was supposed to be sponsored by the company itself, have to pay $60-$70 to attend and it was held at budget hotel, not some high-class hotels or 3-star hotels.

So what make she thinks I want to come to the chalet, I guess I'll cook up some excuses..
