Believing In Making Up

When mistakes happens, you jump to conclusion without talking things out, blaming other party, assuming things, being selfish in one's mind, behaving unreasonably and ridiculously.

When we used to agree to talk our minds and problems out so that we will understand what actually happens and to avoid further arguement and quarrell. It won't become a discussion if both are at their wits but when there is give and take in a communication and also giving one another a chance to open up to talk, I don't see problems coming. If one party is being one sided and self-centered, there won't be just a problem but problems.

Even so after u gave in and try to talked things out, still its one-sided, 'silence' is a golden word and a thing to do for that moment. When the air is cool, crop up together and open up to talk and discuss the problems. Its quite true about what people say, "Easy to say but hard to do", its no harm in trying then just giving up.

"Sorry seems to be the hardest word to say..." though the 5 words meant a lot.

For once, I am expressing sincerely, in hopes to mend things up be it my fault or others because its not a crime in giving in to others and to open up your heart.

I may not be as perfect as I speak but I am trying maybe not hard enough for some, at least its trying than not at all.

"Success happens when there is failures" and I believe there will always be sunshine after every downpour and even a rainbow across the blue sky if you see with an open heart.

Together Over The Weekend

We went out to Sim Lim Square to buy a cooling fan for my laptop. Since we had the whole day to ourselves, we survey almost every stores in each level. It was so hard to find a cooling fan that suits my budget and preferance. I am so lucky to have my hubby who is someone that I can rely on about gadgets and technology since I don't know what to look out for in buying such gadgets. We walked in and out of every stores, taking note of the price, the material, the function, etc. with all the informations, we compared prices and eventually bought myself a transparent cooling fan which operates on USB cable for power and the fan speed is strong, the movement of the blades is silent and it cost me $8.

After Sim Lim Square, we walked over to Bugis Street, it was so crowded since its the weekends and the chinese are shopping for their New Year. It was hard to move around the alley, the whole place was so cramped. I bought myself a pair of sandals for $15. Since Chinese New Year is around the corner, everywhere is having sales and discounts, everything was selling at their cheapest and lowest price.

In the evening, we head back to my place, sitting by the park. We wrapped up about the day, talked about us and just enjoy the view and being close to each other.

Shopping @ The IKEA Store Is Easy

Shopping at the IKEA store was easy as the ideas and inspiration of their design is unique and free, every product has a price tag with details of size, materials, colors, care instructions, etc. We are also able to plan our purchases, there is a stand where you will be able to find paper, pencil, measuring tape and a copy of their catalogue which you can find  throughout the store.

Family Day

After work, I drop by Bedok NTUC to get some fruits for my sick hubby. Back at his place, Abang Jenal's family was there early then came Kak Yati and her husband followed by the kids, Shahirah and Fatin and behind was Kak Ina and husband. Daniel came later since he was still resting at home 'cause he was working the night before.

Mother cooked tom yam soup with bbq chicken meat, hotdogs, nuggets and fried kway teow. It was a promising meal, really enjoy to the last piece. Kak Yati brought along her home-made sicilian orange cake and matcha-green tea-chocolate stars, the taste was scrumptious, soft texture, rich in flavour and tempted to have another piece. I simply adore Kak Yati's creativity and interest in baking.

After meal, everyone simply gathered around, mingling and sharing things till I decide to make a move.

To My One and Only Hubby, do have a good and sufficient rest. Do have proper meals regularly. Take fruits after each meal, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Drink plenty of water, cut down on caffeine, sweet/carbonate drinks and do have a balanced diet. I just want you to get well, it hurts to see you in agony. Get Well Soon, Hubby..!!

p.s. I will take care of you and be by your side always.

Hugs & Kisses...

Fallin' Out

Many couples spend a good times in relationship, also wondering if the person is right for them, whether they should stay or go. Sometimes with us feeling and wondering this way prevent the relationship to grow.

There are many reasons that makes us doubt about our relationship. Some might say that though they love their partner, they do not know if they are being loved in return; or ready for commitment; some are concerned about qualities or behaviors they're uncomfortable with. Others remain in relationships hoping to change their partners, or afraid of being alone. Most people don't want to lose the time they've put in, having to start all over again. While some assume that they pick the wrong person.

It is always a mistake to stay in a relationship if it is about wanting the other person to change. Although people promise to change, change is difficult and only happens when an he/she wants to change for themselves. When a person change to please their partner, this change is temporary, because in order to change time, commitment and effort are needed. See how much of this person you can accept just as they are. If you want to change most of them, it's best to let go. Try to accept them as who they are. When a person feels accepted, they will change for the better.

You will feel loved when you are considered, listened to and respected. If your partner says they love you but neglect your needs, it is not love, to feel attached. Trust your feelings. If the relationship is good, you will feel that you are cared for.

When a couple is willing to sit down, truly talk and listen to one another, they are way ahead. All relationship run into obstacles, as long as both party are willing to talk and to listen, it will make things easy and a strong relationship are build. During your communications be careful not to criticize or blame rather than giving a sarcastic remarks makes the person feel outrage.

If you find that your partner does not trust you, it is very difficult to continue with the relationship. Trust is the foundation of a relationship. Without trust, it makes the other party feel insecure. Trust is a necessity.

Whether or not the relationship you are in is the right one for you if it isn't, you have to move on, take time to be thankful for all the good you received from your partner. Leave with a positive mindset, this will help  to look forward in life.

Is it ever too late to repair a broken and wounded relationship?

Weekend Wrapped-up...

Let me wrap up for the weekend...

Last Friday, Hubby with his brother and nephew went fishing again over at Pasir Ris Pond. After work, I will drop by to see them fishing. Its a rainy day, heavy red sky lured above us. Hubby was at his usual fishing spot. On to the left, was a group of  malay uncles and to our right was empty till one 'botak' malay guy came along and took the spot. It didn't took long for the 'botak' guy to settle down and threw his line out, when he caught his very first fish. You can imagine the reaction we all had, he just came, threw his line out, 'played' awhile with his line and within seconds caught his first fish. Guess, it was his luck. We waited and waited till it was time for me to make a move. That was when hubby's rod came bending forward as if something was pulling it down hard, hubby quickly sprung into action, grab his rod and rear the line in, I was hoping that the fish get tangle with the line. Then we saw the fish splashing on the water surface. Hubby caught his first fish for the day, just in time before I make a move. In a joking manner, I told hubby the fish must have known that I am making my move so it bite on his line.

Yesterday was my off day, I went out with my family to have dinner at Simei banquet. After dinner, we head down to Mustafa Center, it was crowded and it took us awhile to get an empty parking lot. Since it was so crowded, my dad didn't follow us in the mall so he waited for us outside. After paying of our things, we head out to met my dad. We sat down at this small stall under the same roof, we went to order our drinks. Here is the funny part I am sharing, we went to order our drinks, my dad drinks tea 'o'. Over the counter, we are served by mainland Indians, we asked for tea 'o' and they gave a blank face and gave me tea instead. I corrected them and asked for tea without milk. Then the supervisor came out and told us off, English called tea 'BLACK TEA'. I was confused and dumbfounded, whether to laugh or not, never have I heard of 'black tea'. I told them off maybe since they make the tea so they call it 'black tea' because they are black. They cant even compare the color black and reddish maybe they are color-blind. We laugh and make jokes out of it through the whole journey back home. Here is a picture of the 'black tea'.

Heartbreak

For a long time I had not known what heartbreak had felt to an untouched heart, to have your heart broken would take no more then a second., an action, a thought, a feeling. A second is all it could take. But there is another way to have your heart broken. Not through an action, a though or a feeling. But just by being there, in a physical form. But not with the soul, the emotion. The thing you really love about them. The thing your losing from then. But it is not that there dying inside. It is the smile they used to give you, is no longer given to you. The look they give you the feeling of love and compassion, now becomes stare of boredom and regret. The thing that kills you inside every time you look at them with all the love in your heart and which they shrug off in the most painful way.

Bowling Game

As usually its been a long, tiring week working my a** out.. And also its been awhile, for me and my colleagues, play bowling over at downtown east, Ehub. We used to play once a week on every morning shift. I guess the last game that we had was a few months back. The usual suspects are myself, Kak Jai, Gadafi, Zul, Khai. We will usually play 2 sets of game. After the game, we will walk over to my 24 hours coffee shop, to have our dinner and from there we all make our way back home.

Just two days ago, I and my fellow colleagues went to play bowling to distress ourselves from work since we have been very busy as the holidays is here. Abg Kassim and Shima even joined us for the game. After the game, we slowly to Pasir Ris Dr 6 to have our dinner, I didn't joined them as I was tired so I just ordered my food and have it packed. I bought myself nasi ayam and ice kacang.

I took some pictures of us while bowling to share with all.

A helping hand...

Today, hubby help me to organized and install programs in my lappy. As everyone know, I am too clever in using the lappy so to makes things a bit easy and functional in my capability, hubby actually guided me thru the certain programs that he install for me.. isn't that sweet of him, concerned about me having to struggle using the lappy so he make the system simple for me to use. I am really touched by his willingness and thoughtfulness, really appreciate his hard work and guidance.

Before we get down meddling with my lappy, we drop by downtown east, ehub for late lunch and early dinner over at Burger King. We had our usual favourite meal which was turkey bacon burger 1 set and whoomper burger 1 set, since in awhile hubby going to use all his energy and brainstorming, meddling with my lappy so he needs to fill up the tummy and generate the energy for later. After we had our meals, we head down to the nearby Pasir Ris Park, for some fresh air. We sat down by one of the barbeque pit no.16 and hubby starts his mission. Before long, someone came over to their booked pit that we sat at so we packed our things and make a move to somewhere near my area. I just sat around, writing down notes and watch hubby do his things in a way I learn how to operate the programs. It took him almost 4-5hrs to settle everything, he must have felt exhausted and hungry...ehehehee..cant denied that..so once everything has been put in an organized way, I browse the system and programs to familiarize the settings. Hubby then send me back and he continue his journey back home.

Now, I am meddling around with my lappy, trying out the new and much organized system. Its easy and simple to use, hopefully I wont be having any problems using it, I guess it have to be trial n error.

Once again, I am thanking my sweet hubby for his help, really appreciate all the hard work and effort from him. Thank you soooo much...!!!

Fishing over at Pasir Ris Fish Pond

Weekend is here again and hubby is out fishing with his brother, Abang Jenal and nephew, Daniel over at Pasir Ris fish pond. Since I finished work early, i dropped by to see the boys fishing. While on the way there, I stopped by 'Old Chang Kee', buying hubby his favourite yam cake to fill up his tummy.

When i reached there, mother and adeq, Farhan was around. We sat around, chatting and sharing about the day. That's when hubby's line got bite. The fish was big, the first catch  for the day. I took some pictures to share with all but the picture is a bit dark due to bad lighting, enjoy the short slide show...

My brother, Is even drop by the pond. I spend quite some time accompanying my hubby till about 1115pm and later walk back home. If i am not working the next day, i would have accompany him throughout the night. Its been awhile too that we go prawning at the pond. We used to go prawning there for about 2-3 hours and caught about 1.5-2kg of prawns. The size of the prawns are quite big and some do comes with claws. Mother would then cooked 'sambal udang'. I really miss mother's cooking especially 'ayam masak merah'. Maybe one of this days, i and hubby can plan to go prawning, well that is going to be another story.

P.S Insya'allah..rezki murah, dapatlah you 2-3ekor ikan lagi. Dapa tlah masak ikan sweet 'n' sour or 3 rasa..eheheeheee..
Today, I took time off from work to meet my hubby and make the trip down to Parkway Parade. Since that day my hubby mention he wanted to look for his lappy accessories at Popular and along the way I look for my 'mouse'. We looked around for my 'mouse' and nothing seems to catch my eye but hubby manage to get his thing which is a multi-purpose hub for his lappy. Then we wandered off to Parkway Parade, in searched for my 'mouse' at Giant, Harvey Norman and Best Denki, none seems to suit my budget and catches my eye. Eventually, we went to this shop whereby they sell certain computers accessories and finally bought myself a wireless mini navigator which was within my budget. Aside from that, we bought ourselves each this 'Heartswarmers' keepsakes card with special messages. Its really sweet to owned this keepsakes cards with special messages in a way when I misses him, I can just take the cards out and read the written message which draw a smile on my face. I even get myself a free mug plus soft toy in it from Giant, after I have completed to collect 16stamps. Its a mug with either cats or dogs design in calboration with SPCA. My mug plus soft toy represents a Persian cat.

Before we head home, we had our supper at KFC, since it was 9plus there wasn't much crowd queuing up. We queue patiently, waiting to be serve. There was 3counters and only 2 are opened, after awhile we waited, the staff from other counter call upon us for our order which the staff has already closed his/her counter for the day so we proceed as usual hubby make the order. While hubby was making his order, the staff cut his conversation without hearing out his complete order when he actually he was making it easier for the staff taking the order without having to ask us for any particular order which pissed him off. Hubby simply turn to me and say "I hate the attitude" instantly the staff serving us, feel the pinch and talk to us gently and the next few minutes everything was perfectly say and done by the staff, maybe the staff was afraid that hubby might want to lodge a complain with the manager. Later, hubby told me that the staff have closed his/her counter and preparing to clean up the workplace when the manager told him/her off that he/she should serve us first before starting to clean the place up since there is still customers waiting on line which the staff wasn't happy about.

Let us think thru about our service industry and the frontliners, have they really boost up the service rate and is this the way its going to be for the next years down the road. How will the community and tourists/foreigners rate our service if this kind of service and attitude keeps on-going. I suggest that everyone that works in the service line should attend courses and have proper trainings since the government also emphasize on good service.

Holidays around the corner

It's been a tiring week for me to be working in the morning shift. Furthermore, its the school holidays, families and tourists travel around the globe. Imagine the crowd double up during the festive period and public holidays. Everywhere you go is crowded, .e.g the malls, cinemas, beaches, trains etc.Hmmphh....holidays is here, how nice it would be to be able to enjoy the holiday mood and have a plan to spend the holidays. How nice it would be, to spend the day out at the beach or picnic maybe barbecue.

I am looking forward to spend the days on some quality times with my beloved hubby, doing the things we shared and likes. After a long tiring day at work, it would be really, really nice to be in my hubby cuddles able to relax the nerves that has been working all day. Being close, wrap in his warmth cuddles is just as good as having a massage....MMmmmmm....nice...

P.S how about a good 'wrap up' this days...ehehehee...

A visit to SGH

Dear Diary,

It's Hari Raya Adha today which mark the new year in Islam calendar. Everyone is celebrating this festive season happily with their respective families while here i am at SGH visiting my beloved aunty, bik Nora, who is in ICU. Her condition is still critical and unstable. Its been 2 weeks and still no improvement in her health. It sadden me to see her in such state, feeling her pain and dilemma fighting her life thru this critical moment by herself. She's clinging on to a supportive equipment which help thru her breathing process.

Families and friends have come and go every single day by her ward, in hoping for a miracle and blessing from above, praying everyday by her side reciting 'surah yasin' that she'll pull thru this hurdles in life. Just last year, iv lost my beloved uncle and the thought of losing another beloved family members is just so near yet far. She've been in operations but none was successful and at times the feeling of losing hope could be felt by all though we leave it to fate and the almighty.

Like the saying.."ajal dan maut di tangan tuhan"... in god's will, whatever that comes thru this path, we take it with an open strong heart.
